Common questions
Is PCI accredited?
PCI is building toward formal accreditation rather than claiming it. The credential and its processes are designed around the ISO/IEC 17024 personnel-certification principles, which sets the international standard for impartial, competence-based certification bodies. We state our status plainly and do not imply recognition we do not yet hold — that honesty is part of how a credible certification body earns trust.
Do the terms guarantee anything?
No — nothing constitutes a guarantee of any outcome.

Why this matters
Clear policies matter because they are how fairness is made real. A certification body that treats everyone consistently — on eligibility, conduct, security, impartiality and appeals — is one whose decisions can be trusted, and whose credential therefore means the same thing for everyone who holds it. These pages set out those commitments plainly.
PCI states its position honestly, including where processes are still being established. The aim is not legal cover for its own sake but genuine, transparent governance — the substance that lets a credential, and the body behind it, earn and keep professional trust.

Your responsibilities and ours
The exchange is straightforward. PCI undertakes to publish information in good faith, to describe its status honestly at every stage — including what the institute is not yet — and to correct errors when they are found. Content may change as the programme develops, which is stated openly rather than hidden. In return, users are asked to use the site lawfully; to keep account credentials to themselves; not to scrape, copy or republish content beyond what fair, attributed use allows; and not to misrepresent any relationship with PCI — claiming a credential you do not hold is dealt with as an integrity matter, not merely a website matter.
Most importantly: nothing on this website is a guarantee of certification, employment or any professional outcome. Certification is earned through assessment, and no page here can promise its result.

Do the terms change, and how would I know?
They may change as the programme develops. The current version is always the one published on this page, so check back when it matters — for example, before enrolling or making a payment.
What should I do if something on the site looks wrong?
Tell us. Information is published in good faith, and reports of errors are genuinely welcome — corrections are part of how PCI operates. Reporting also protects other readers who might otherwise rely on the mistake.
Governing law and disputes
Project Controls Institute Global, Inc. is a Delaware Non-Stock Corporation. These terms, and any dispute about the website or PCI's services, are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, and the state and federal courts located in Delaware have jurisdiction. Where you deal with PCI as a consumer, nothing here removes the mandatory consumer-protection rights, or the right to bring proceedings in the courts, of your own country; those local rights continue to apply and prevail over this clause to the extent the law requires. We would always ask you to raise a concern with us first, through the complaints process, so that most matters can be settled without formal proceedings at all.
Reviews and other content you submit
When you submit a review, testimonial or other feedback — for example through the member portal — you keep ownership of what you write. By submitting it, you grant PCI a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, display, reproduce and moderate that content, together with the first name, role and sector you provide, on the reviews page and in related material. PCI publishes reviews in the reviewer's own words and edits only to protect personal data or to remove content that is unlawful or uncivil. You can ask PCI to withdraw or anonymise your published review at any time by contacting us, and PCI may decline to publish, or may later remove, content that breaches these terms. You are responsible for ensuring that what you submit is your own and does not infringe anyone else's rights.
