Reviews & testimonials

What students, members and professionals say about the PCI certification programmes and the Project Controls Institute. Reviews are submitted by verified members and published after moderation.

Are you a PCI member? Share your experience from your student portal — we'd love to feature it here.

By submitting a review you grant PCI a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish and moderate it — with your first name, role and sector — on this page. You keep ownership, and you can ask us to withdraw or anonymise it at any time. See the Terms of Use.

How it works

Verified reviews, moderated honestly

Every review on this page comes from a verified member or student — someone whose relationship with PCI can be confirmed against enrolment records. Submissions arrive through the member portal, and moderation checks two things only: that the reviewer is who they say they are, and that the content is civil and free of personal data that should not be published. Moderation does not filter for favourability. A reviews page that only ever shows praise is marketing, not evidence — and evidence is the point.

The same honesty explains why this page may be sparse: the programme is in its founding cohort phase, and PCI publishes only genuine submissions. There will never be invented testimonials here, however empty the page looks in the meantime. What appears will have been written by real members, in their own words.

Moderation is kept quick by design: a submission that passes the two checks above is published as it was written, and reviewers are told the outcome either way.

Contributing

Writing a review worth reading

If you are a member with an experience to share, specificity is what makes a review useful to the next reader:

  • Say which part of the journey you are describing — enrolment, study, the examination, membership itself.
  • Describe what actually helped or fell short, rather than awarding adjectives.
  • Give your context — role and sector are enough; no employer name is needed.
  • Be candid. Constructive criticism is published, and it also reaches the people who can act on it.

Reviews are submitted from your student portal once logged in. If you have feedback you would rather raise privately than publish, contact PCI directly — both routes are read.

Common questions

About reviews on this page

Will a critical review actually be published?

Yes, provided it is genuine and civil. Moderation exists to verify authenticity and protect personal data, not to protect PCI from criticism. Candid accounts are more valuable to prospective candidates than polished ones.

Can PCI edit my review?

Reviews are published in the reviewer's own words. The only edits made are removals required for privacy or civility, and a review is never altered to change its meaning or its verdict.
