Digital Credentials.

A portable, verifiable badge that proves your PCL-AI — anywhere.

Overview

When you earn a PCI credential, you receive a digital credential you can share on profiles, CVs and email signatures. It is portable and verifiable, so anyone can confirm it is genuine and current against PCI’s registry.

What a digital credential gives you

  • A shareable badge for LinkedIn, CVs and signatures
  • A verifiable link confirming authenticity and status
  • Protection against forged or expired claims
  • A consistent, recognised representation of the PCI credentials
In practice

Using it correctly

PCI applies this consistently and documents what it does, so the approach can be checked and improved. Final detail is published as the institute matures, and is governed by the related policies below.

A credential you control

When you earn a PCI credential, it is issued as a digital credential you control — something you can share on a profile or CV and that others can verify against PCI directly, without having to take your word for it.

Verifiable

Checkable against PCI, so an employer or client can confirm it is genuine.

Portable

Share it anywhere — profile, CV or email signature — with a single link.

Tamper-evident

Built so it cannot be quietly altered or faked.

Holder-controlled

You decide where and when your credential is displayed.

How a digital credential works

This is how verification works — the credential register is live, so every issued credential can be checked at source.

Common questions

Where can I display my badge?

On professional profiles, CVs and email signatures.

How do others verify it?

Through credential verification against PCI’s registry.

Can I use it if my credential lapses?

No — the badge reflects current status; lapsed credentials are shown accordingly.

Why this matters

A certification is only worth holding if it is genuinely hard to fake. That is why every PCI certification rests on an independent, competence-based assessment, a clear standard, and a strict separation between training and the certification decision — so a pass means the same thing for everyone who earns it, and an employer can rely on it without re-testing the person themselves.

PCI builds in the open: candid about what is in place today, designed around the ISO/IEC 17024 personnel-certification principles, and careful never to imply recognition it does not yet hold. That honesty is not a caveat — it is the foundation a credible credential is built on.

  • Substance over marketing
  • Fair, transparent process
  • Honesty about our status
  • Responsible, governed use of AI

Founding-stage document · Version 1.0 — effective date to be confirmed · Reviewed under PCI governance. PCI makes no claims of accreditation or recognition beyond what is true today.

For verifiers

What a sound verification looks like

A badge image on its own proves nothing — images are easy to copy. If you are an employer, recruiter or client checking a claim, go back to the source rather than the screenshot, and check three things.

Match the person

Confirm the name on the record matches the person making the claim. Treat a mismatch as unresolved rather than as misconduct — names change — and ask the holder to raise it with PCI.

Check current standing

Verification confirms status today, not merely that a certificate was once issued. A lapsed or withdrawn credential is shown as such, and should be read as such.

Check the scope

Confirm the claim matches what was certified: each PCI credential covers the integrated project-controls discipline with governed AI — nothing broader, and no accreditation PCI does not hold.

Every issued credential can be checked instantly through credential verification. A claim that cannot be checked at all should be treated with caution — that is exactly the problem verifiable credentials exist to remove.
