When is the next event?
Event dates are published ahead of time as the programme develops. With chapters still being established, the calendar is growing from a deliberate starting point rather than a long-running schedule. The most reliable way to hear about sessions as they are confirmed is through membership and your local chapter, which increasingly drive what runs where.
Who can attend?
Events are generally open to practising professionals, leaders and students, with the exact audience depending on the session. Some are broad community or learning events open to anyone interested; others, such as candidate preparation sessions, are aimed at a specific group. Where an event has particular requirements, they are made clear when it is announced.
Are events online or in person?
Both formats are intended, and the format is confirmed with each event. Online webinars make learning accessible wherever you are, while chapter and networking events bring people together locally. As chapters establish themselves, the balance of online and in-person activity will grow with them.
Why this matters
This matters because a credential earns its value from substance, not marketing — clear standards, fair process, transparent governance and honesty about status. Everything in the institute's resources is written to that test: genuinely useful to professionals and employers, and never claiming more than is true today.

Built for more than one audience
A flagship gathering fails if it serves only its most senior delegates. Congress is designed so that each group leaves with something usable:

How content earns its place
The same honesty rules that govern PCI's publications govern its stage. Sessions are selected for practitioner substance: real methods, real failure modes, and reasoning a delegate can test against their own projects. Vendor sales pitches dressed as talks do not qualify, and speakers are expected not to present invented benchmarks or unverifiable claims — the discipline of evidence applies to slides as much as to reports. Content is mapped against the body of knowledge so delegates can connect what they hear to what the credential assesses, and structured learning at PCI events is designed to support recorded professional development under the CPD framework.
